Certification Fees

Each mobile money provider seeking certification must pay a fee of $12,500 to Alliances Management. This is payable in two segments: half ($6,250) upon submission of the application, and the balance payable after the Assessor has completed its final report, but before the Scheme Operator publishes the certification results. All certification fees are payable in U.S. dollars.

 

Assessor Fees

Each mobile money provider must contract with an Accredited Assessor. The fees for Assessors will vary and should be negotiated between the two parties. However, in standard circumstances an assessment may not exceed USD $22,500 and this fee should be paid by the mobile money provider directly to the scheme operator along with the certification fee. Consultant Fees

A mobile money provider may elect to hire an Accredited Consultant to assist it in preparing for the certification process. This is optional, and pricing would vary based on the scope of work required. The mobile money provider will pay the fees directly to the Consultant.
